Meet Our Founders
Workplaced was Founded in 2023 by Adel El Mawla, Nick Nunnington and Asael Akkerman. They were frustrated by the seemingly unfounded way decisions were being made about workplaces and decided to eliminate the guesswork. Things moved quickly from there.
Professor Nick Nunnington
Real estate consultant, teacher and academic researcher with 30 years experience. Co-author of 2 real estate books adopted as core text for MSc. and MBA programs in universities across the world including The Corporate Real Estate Asset Management: Strategy & Implementation
Adel El Mawla
Seasoned entrepreneur with 10 years of experience specializing in PropTech. Participated in global accelerator programs as a founder, entrepreneur-in-residence, business associate, and mentor at organizations such as 500 Global, Google for Startups, StartupBootCamp, and Techstars.
Asael Akkerman
C-level executive in workplace and workforce advisory with 20 years of experience serving global brands and Fortune 500 companies (Uber, Coca-Cola, etc.). Former SVP of Partnerships at Spacewell (Nemetschek Group) and ex-partner at Cushman & Wakefield.
